Basic Vacant Registration
The Basic Vacant Registration is designed to fit most registration needs. Key points of the Basic Vacant Registration are 1. The time period is for 30 days or a fraction thereof. In the event the registration needs to be cancelled in less than 30 days the cost is the same. The 30 days can be extended at a rate of $25.00 per additional week. There is no limit to the number of weeks that can be purchased.

Vacation Home Registration
The Vacation Home Registration plan differs from the basic home plan in significant ways. First vacation home registrations have a minimum time requirement of three months. There is then as additional fee for each month instead of weekly extensions. Vacation Homes require extra that the property is actually a vacation and as such can’t be a primary residence. Also vacation homes require less RVP posted signage but are checked on more often as a regular part of the plan.

For Sale Registration
Typically, a property currently on the market, or which will soon be offered for sale, will need the assistance of a real estate agent. RVP Certifies Agents to professionally register your property. There are also specific guidelines for real estate professionals to ensure the RVP registration coincides with the timing of the real estate transaction.
